ASSEMBLY PARK SONG

In Tribute to Edward and Eileen Shea - Lyrics by Nancy, Sue, Ed, Eileen, Dan, Diane, Julie & Maureen Shea (c. 1976)

Give my regards to Delavan,

Remember me to Gale Reese

Tell all the gang at My Brother's Place that I will soon be there.

Whisper to how I'm yearning to dive into that pea green lake.

Give my regards to Assembly Park And say I'll be back next year.

(Sing to the tune of "Give My Regards to Old Broadway")

ASSEMBLY PARK - POEM

In our town of Delavan, we know where we stand.
A haven of joy, our park oh so grand!
Cottages lined up like birds in a nest,
A tranquil retreat, a place we love best.

Our shimmering lake, where waters reflect,
The beauty of gratitude, we all connect.
Gazebo stands tall, our symbol of grace,
A sanctuary with memories we love and embrace.

Throughout the park where stories unfold,
Of cherished moments, from both young and old.
A symphony of laughter, a chorus of glee,
Our own slice of heaven where expressions run free.

A tapestry of feelings weave through us here.
Honoring traditions year after year.
A day of Thanksgiving, a timeless art.
Assembly Park, where love is the heart.
